Competition used to mean something different.

It's meant to bring the best out of each competitor, not to define someone as a loser or winner.

Don't get me wrong, I still think you need to have a winner and a loser in competition. No participation trophies here!

It's more of a mindset for you as the individual. The real goal is to figure out YOUR best. That happens when you compete or strive together. The competition brings the best of what you currently have out. If that isn't enough to win, congratulate the other competitors and find where your growth opportunities are.

And if your competitor is a poor sport, don't let them control your emotions! The goal should always be to be a better version of yourself in the end. A trophy for the champ is nice, though 🤣
