Sometimes we compare ourselves to others and think, ‘I’m not as good as them.’ But God didn’t make you like anyone else—He made you unique and special!

Psalm 139:14 says: ‘I am fearfully and wonderfully made.’

God made every part of you on purpose—your smile, your laugh, your talents, and even the things that make you different. You are a masterpiece, and God loves you just the way you are.

Never forget that you are wonderfully made by God.

Have you ever had to choose between doing the right thing or the easy thing? Maybe sharing your snack or helping a friend instead of playing alone? Jesus tells us the greatest commandment helps guide all our choices.

Matthew 22:37 says: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.’

Jesus is saying that loving God comes first—everything else flows from that love. When we love God with all our hearts, it helps us make good choices, treat others kindly, and follow Him with joy.

Love God first, and everything else will fall into place.

Have you ever seen a knight with armor? The armor protects them from danger. God gives us spiritual armor to help us face challenges in life.

Ephesians 6:11 says: ‘Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the devil’s schemes.’

God’s armor includes truth, faith, peace, and more. It helps us do what’s right, make good choices, and stand strong when life is hard. We don’t fight alone—God is our protection.

Every day, remember to put on God’s armor by praying, reading the Bible, and trusting Him.

Dear God, help me put on Your armor every day so I can be strong and stand for You. Amen

Have you ever been hurt by a friend, like they said something mean or took your toy? It’s normal to feel upset, but God wants us to forgive, just like Jesus forgives us.

Ephesians 4:32 says: ‘Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.’”

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay, but it means you choose to let go of the hurt and show love. Jesus forgave us even when we made mistakes, so we can forgive others too.

When someone hurts you, choose to forgive them just like Jesus forgives you.

Have you ever tried something really hard, like learning a new sport or instrument, and thought, ‘I just can’t do this’? I remember trying to ride my bike without training wheels—it felt impossible. But when I asked God to help me, I found I could keep going and finally succeed!”

“Philippians 4:13 says: ‘I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.’”

This verse reminds us that we don’t have to rely on our own strength alone. God gives us the power to do things we might think are too hard. Whenever you face a challenge, remember you can do it with Jesus by your side.

When you feel weak or scared, ask Jesus for strength, because He can help you do anything.

Hey friends! Welcome back to Strong and Courageous! Today’s lesson is about the power of your words. Have you ever said something mean to someone and immediately felt bad? Words can hurt, but they can also help and encourage others. Your words have power!

“Proverbs 18:21 says: ‘The tongue has the power of life and death."

This verse reminds us that the things we say can either make someone feel happy and loved, or sad and discouraged. God wants us to speak words that bring life and kindness to others.

Choose words that build people up instead of tearing them down.

“Have you ever seen a shepherd with sheep? The shepherd makes sure the sheep don’t get lost and protects them from danger. Sheep don’t always know the right path, but the shepherd does.”

“Psalm 23:1 says: ‘The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.’”

“Just like a shepherd takes care of sheep, God takes care of us. He guides us, protects us, and gives us everything we need—not always what we want, but what we truly need.”

Have you ever been in a big crowd, like at a game or a concert, and you felt really small? I remember being at a football game with thousands of people, and it felt like I was just one tiny dot in the crowd. But imagine this: in that huge crowd, someone calls out your name! Suddenly, you don’t feel invisible anymore—you feel seen and known.

That means God doesn’t just know about you—He knows you personally. He knows your favorite color, the games you like to play, the things that make you laugh, and even the things that make you cry. You are not just another person in the crowd to Him. You are special. You belong to Him.

You’re Chosen

I know what is like to feel left out or maybe not included, feeling lonely and not fitting in, but I want share with you a bible verse 1 Peter 2:9 says “you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession” here in this verse it says that we are chosen by God and we are so special to him, He sees you, take comfort in knowing that God the maker of the universe chooses you.

Theres a story about a man and he was paralyzed, and he heard that Jesus was in town teaching and doing miracles inside a house, but when they got there the crowd was so big so they could not get their friend in to see Jesus so his friends had the idea of taking him to the roof and they cut a hole and they lower his mat at the feet of Jesus so Jesus could do a miracle for Him, what I love of this story is that his friends do not give up at the first sight of struggle. I want friends like that, Friends that would bring me to Jesus.
