There are many things that separate Christianity from all other faiths. However, the most important thing that the entire faith rests on is the Resurrection of Christ.  

The Resurrection is different than the birth because of what it symbolizes gives us.  The birth of Christ, of which we celebrate as Christmas, is looked at as a gift. We celebrate this occasion with gifts.  It happens to take place in the darkness of Winter and the gift lifts up our spirits during the dark days.  

Easter or the hand, takes place in the Spring.  When new life is sprouting and we begin to have hope that something better is coming for this upcoming season.  The Resurrection gives us HOPE!  Hope in something better to come.  That something better is promised to us as eternal life with Christ in Heaven.  

Why is HOPE important?  It is the Jet Fuel that gets you out of bed every morning.  It is the reason you go to work and do what you do.  It is the reason that Christianity has spread around the globe in great speed and intention over the past 2000 years.  People need hope in order to live, and the Resurrection is just that.
