STU ON THIS

John 6:20

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

-John 10:10

21“I hate all your show and pretense—

the hypocrisy of your religious festivals and solemn assemblies.

22I will not accept your burnt offerings and grain offerings.

I won’t even notice all your choice peace offerings.

23Away with your noisy hymns of praise!

I will not listen to the music of your harps.

24Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice,

an endless river of righteous living.

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

-Isaiah 43:19

Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.

Colossians 3:2

Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.

Psalm 51:10

4I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. 5Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. 6In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. 7For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.
