We can have that "peace which passes all understanding" because "unto (us) has been born in the City of David, a Savior who is Christ the Lord."

Peace is a person, "Emmanuel" - "God with us!"

Hope is ours in Christ Jesus!

Simeon and Anna never gave up hope despite their circumstances.  Hope sees beyond our circumstances.  We have hope because God is with us.  We have hope because God does not change..

Hope is a person.  Emmanuel.  God with us!

Thanksgiving is an attitude we should have every day.

Give thanks to God in all circumstances!

This message ends the Holy Spirit series by considering the final six fruit of the Spirit: patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Today's message looks at the first three fruit of the Spirit:  Love, Joy, and Peace

Psalm 68 is a reminder that the Lord goes before us.  We can have a settled assurance that God is still in control despite our circumstances.

Psalm 67 is a reminder that God's "face shining upon us" is the greatest of all blessings.

God's face shining upon us is the blessing of being in intimate relationship with God.  It is the blessing of knowing God and being favored by God.

It is the greatest of all blessings!
