It's 2023!

This means it's time to look back at our predictions for 2022 and try to find ways to prove them right. Eitan and Carl go through each other's predictions and share why things panned out the way they did.

After that, they shared some of their favorite highlights of the past year in the world of media and entertainment.

The boys start this special episode by going through the WAAW segment for Triangle of Sadness, Ticket to Paradise, and Decision to Leave before checking in on the latest news in a galaxy far, far away.

Then, they spend the rest of the time looking back at their journey through the last 99 episodes, sharing how they've seen themselves and each other grow, and how they've seen SID impact the way they perceive not only the entertainment industry but also the world at large.

Lydia Tár, BTS, Kanye West – everyone’s getting CANCELED!

As promised last week, Carl & Eitan make a promised transition away from film criticism and into business strategy, but not before spending a few minutes in TÁR Corner. They discuss the government-mandated breakup of K-pop giant BTS, and they spend the majority of the episode digging into the twin horrors of a Ye-owned Parler and an Elon-owned Twitter. This also offers Eitan & Carl a chance to talk through the plausibility of WeChat-like “super apps” in an American market.
