Sit back and relax as this episode is a reading of the Jurassic Park 3 draft, dated April 12, 2000. Written by Peter Buchman, this isn't the earliest script for the film, but this 50 page draft is extremely interesting. Lots of changes, including an ending that is significantly bigger than what we received in the final film. Yet, there are plenty of similar scenes and characters that were reworked into others. You can find some of the art for this draft by visiting my instagram page: @StuckOnSorna

A glimpse at what the entire film could have been. Jurassic Park 3's aviary sequence gets so many things right, including the proper amount of suspense with carefully placed buildup of tension. Why does it work so well? How difficult was it to film someone walking around set wearing a Pteranodon costume? Is Grant a jerk? Let's discuss.

20 years later and still recovering from the death of the t-rex. Bold filmmaking or pure nonsense? We discuss the spino vs t-rex fight and the challenges facing the crew when trying to film the sequence. Other highlights include a Spielberg encounter, Joe Johnston up in a tree, and maybe we'll hear about an earlier draft of JP3...maybe.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of Jurassic Park 3, join me (host Daniel Stephen) as I talk with the crew (and a few cast members) about the making of JP3 as well as share my stories about growing up with Jurassic. I say this is an introduction to an obsession because there's no movie on this planet that I've watched more than the third Jurassic film. It's definitely a condition. I love it. It's not the best in the franchise but I love it. From the incredible aviary sequence to the random dark humor from writers Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor, this film deserves another look and lots more respect.
