A one and a half million dollar survey detailing the usefulness of courses when applying for work, has been blocked by universities. Critics have pointed out the data could potentially be skewed and is therefore unreliable, however when Tuwhenuaroa spoke to Brendan Kelly, Deputy Chief Executive of Information at the Tertiary Education Commision, he reassured him the data was solid. Brendan was reluctant to speculate as to why the survey had been blocked, however he did give some insight as to the process of making the survey as reliable and useful as possible.
