Whatever image you have of a everyday Northern Michigan artist - maybe a landscape painter or lighthouse photographer - Rufus Snoddy is not that. The mixed media artist from Traverse City is inspired by his surroundings, but the result is vivid painted sculpture with pointed, searing, and thought-provoking social commentary.
