Nehemiah moved ahead with the king's permission in spite of the terrorist threats from his enemies he encountered. In fact, not only did Nehemiah not-give into his enemies, but what is interesting is how he stationed some men as guards and soldiers who carried spears and arrows in case of an attack by their enemies. The men who were directly working on the wall had a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other, also prepared to immediately be able to defend themselves in case of attack.

Only as Christians are taught doctrine, theology and all aspects of Scripture, will they be in a far better position to go into the world when they leave church and be ready to provide an answer to anyone who asks about the hope that we have in Christ. We should do this with gentleness and respect -1 Peter 3-15-. In that verse, Peter also tells us to -sanctify- our hearts, meaning we should actively and continually separate our hearts to God, ridding ourselves of the things in this world that compete for God's attention. This must be taught and lived by each Christian in order that they might become better evangelists. Obviously Christians have a responsibility to study the Bible on their own as well.

Continued Sunday class regarding end times-last days events. Where is society heading and what is pushing us to the ultimate goal of the fruition of the final empire first noted in Daniel 2-

Are we living in the -last days- or -end times-- If so, what does that mean---This series focuses on focusing on what the Bible says about events not yet fulfilled, including the Rapture, the Tribulation-Great Tribulation, the return of Jesus, the Judgments of the nations, the Millennial Kingdom and more. Part 1 was not recorded, but a brief overview was provided at the beginning of this lesson being presented to an adult Sunday School class.

In the closing verses of 2 Thessalonians 2, Paul affirms the salvation of the Thessalonians, while affirming the need for continued holy living, and also affirms God's Presence in their lives. This was in spite of the persecution they were suffering.--What does all of this mean for Christians today-

In 2 Thessalonians 2-6-12, Paul pulls the curtain back on what he calls the -mystery of iniquity.- Among other things, he notes that this iniquity is born of lawlessness and when he speaks of lawlessness, he is referring to God's moral code -laws-, not society's laws, though it includes that as well. --Ultimately, Paul is pointing to the fact that the coming man of sin, will be revealed by the groundswell and unbridled -mystery of iniquity- that will make his political debut on the world's stage acceptable by the masses.

In 2 Thessalonians 2-1-5, Paul is concerned about the Thessalonian believers and tells them not to be deceived. He reminds them what he had taught them previously when he was personally with them and that they should ignore false teachers who were trying to pull them off the path.--This applies to us today as well because we are further into the Last Days then during Paul's day. It will worsen as this final age approaches the physical return of Jesus in victory and judgment.---Programming note- we apologize, but our video did not work out as planned but we managed to salvage the audio for the most part.-
