  • We Were Married As Two Men. Now We're Husband And Wife With 3 Kids. | Nic Renick
Can you be gay and be a Christian? Nic Renick lived inside that question for
years, and his answer will make both sides uncomfortable.

In this Stuff God Never Said episode, Audrey Cauthen sits down with Nic Renick
for one of the most honest ex gay testimonies you will ever hear. Nic came out
at 15. He spent three years in Hawaii chasing New Age spirituality and
psychedelics, looking for healing he never found. He married a partner who was
living as a man. Then his wife laid down her transgender identity, and Nic had
    to face his own.

This is a gay-toChristian testimony and a detransition story told from the
husband's side. Nic talks about the childhood wounds underneath his sexual
identity. He talks about the church hurt that almost ended his faith. He talks
about what biblical masculinity actually looks like, and it is not what most
    men have been sold.

Nic and Lex Renick were married as two men. Today they are husband and wife
raising three kids and running Revive Traveling Ministry full time. Along the
way there was a medical outcome her own doctor could not explain.

Nic does not soften the truth and he does not reach for shame. He has a word
for the church about how it treats people walking in this, and a word for the
people the church has already pushed away.
If you have a son, a brother, or a friend in this, watch to the end. Nic
answers exactly what to do and what not to do.

  • No Faith, No Warning | He Collapsed An Agnostic And Woke Up Believing In Jesus | William Pope
William Pope spent 27 years as a self-identified agnostic. He was a Twitch partner
playing video games for a living and selling health insurance to pay the bills. Then
one afternoon in July 2025 he collapsed on his hardwood floor, and for about a minute
he was conscious in two places at once.

He describes sinking. He describes dread and regret worse than anything he had felt.
And then he called out a name he did not even believe in.

Get vidIQ to grow your channel faster! 🚀
    https://vidiq.com/StandUpDude

What happened after that is the part most people do not expect. William is an
economics grad who worked in insurance and now works in investment banking, so his
first instinct was not worship. It was investigation. He set out to disprove
Christianity and ended up walking through the historicity of Jesus, Isaiah 53, the
seventy weeks of Daniel 9 and the Dead Sea Scrolls, trying to find the crack. He never
    found it.

Audrey Cauthen sits down with him to walk the whole thing through. His atheist
girlfriend Nora coming to faith on her own terms. The convictions that hit him fast and
hard once he started reading. Why he thinks Western churches stopped talking about hell
and the supernatural, and what that silence cost people like him. And the line he keeps
coming back to: God is not an opt-out service.

If you have ever wondered whether there is anything on the other side, or you have been
told to just believe and nobody ever showed you why, this one is worth your time.

  • Leah Hope | She Was Almost 400 Pounds. This Is What Finally Made Her Change.
Leah Hope lost 215 pounds naturally, with no surgery, no Ozempic, and no crash diet. In this episode of Stuff God Never Said she shares her full weight loss transformation, from almost 400 pounds to the healthiest version of herself, and how Jesus changed her heart long before He changed her body.

This is a Christian weight loss story that goes deeper than the scale. Leah gets honest about emotional eating, about food becoming an idol, and about the day at Disneyland with her nephew that started her whole natural weight loss journey. If you have ever wondered how she lost weight and actually kept the healthy habits, this is a real look at the mindset behind lasting body transformation.

We also talk about the things the church usually avoids. Gluttony as a comfort we hide. Body positivity versus body neutrality. Why healthy weight loss is really about caring for the body God gave you instead of chasing a number on a scale. Whether you are starting your own weight loss journey or trying to teach your kids healthy habits with food, there is real biblical wisdom and encouragement packed into this one.

Leah did not lose over 200 pounds because she is special or has good genetics. She did it with small, sustainable weight loss tips she repeated every single day. Her story is proof that the same thing is possible for you.

  • Facing Cancer & Finding Hope: Christin Hart’s Incredible Survival Story - Pt 1
In this powerful episode of "Stuff God Never Said," hosts Audrey Cauthen and Christin Hart (aka “Cancer Warrior Kristen” on social media) dive deep into a story that is far more common—and more misunderstood—than we realize: the journey through cancer.

Christin Hart opens up about her shocking diagnosis with papillary thyroid cancer, a life-altering moment that came after years of survival mode, burnout, and striving to protect her family through every curveball life threw her way. From her family’s courageous move from San Diego to Nashville at the start of the pandemic, to the emotional exhaustion of supporting her husband through health crises, Christin shares candidly about navigating seasons of uncertainty, fear, and hope.

This episode is a beacon for anyone facing the darkness of a health battle or struggling to surrender their own plans for God’s unknown, and often unexpected, path. Christin’s story is rich with honesty—she breaks through misconceptions about what God “never said” about suffering, healing, health, and faith, and offers hard-earned encouragement for those facing their own trials.

Here’s what you’ll find in this episode:

    • The silent epidemic: startling cancer statistics and why Christin refuses to keep her journey silent any longer.
    • Christin’s personal battle: from mysterious symptoms and gut feelings to a diagnosis that rocked her world, and why her journey is about more than just survival.
    • The power (and pain) of letting go of our own plans—and how Christin learned to surrender hers for God’s greater purpose.
    • Hard questions: Dealing with fear, discouragement, and “guardian mechanisms” that keep us functioning but disconnected from ourselves and God’s healing work.
    • A deeper exploration of holistic healing, trauma, and the importance of emotional health in physical recovery.
    • Raw moments of faith, doubt, and miraculous prayers—and a new understanding of what it means to get your “voice” back in the midst of adversity.
    • Real talk about the broken health care system, limited options, and what it means to fight for hope when you’re told there’s none.
    • What Christin wishes every person battling cancer, chronic illness, or disappointment in God would know.

Whether you’re walking through a health crisis, supporting a loved one, or simply longing to understand where God is in life’s hardest detours, Christin’s candid testimony will inspire you to look for hope, healing, and the gentle leading of God—even in the most unexpected places.

Don't miss this honest, hope-filled conversation. Share this episode with anyone who needs encouragement in the fight for faith, health, or purpose!

  • The Truth About Grief: What God Really Says (and Doesn’t)
If you've ever wrestled with grief—or felt helpless supporting someone through loss—this is the episode you need. Host Audrey Cauthen sits down with author and biblical grief educator Natalie Weedman, who shares her raw journey after the unimaginable loss of her son. Together, they bust harmful Christian clichés, unpack what the Bible really says about sadness, and reveal practical ways to process pain and find true comfort.

Learn why God never shames you for grieving, how biblical mourning is cyclical (not linear!), and the life-changing pattern of “honesty, lament, promise, and thanksgiving.” Plus, discover how science is finally catching up with the wisdom of scripture when it comes to the mind-body connection in grief.

    You’ll walk away with:

    • Relief that you don’t have to “move on” or have it all together

    • Permission to bring ALL your feelings to God—and why He welcomes them

    • A proven biblical process for healing, hope, and authentic comfort

  • The Lies that Almost Destroyed My Faith
In this vulnerable and hope-filled episode of "Stuff God Never Said," host Audrey Cauthen shifts the spotlight onto her own journey, sharing a raw and personal testimony of navigating infertility, loss, and the powerful lies we often believe about God’s love. From growing up in a rule-heavy church environment to facing years of heartbreak through miscarriage, endometriosis, and the isolation of infertility, Audrey pulls back the curtain to reveal how persistent messages of unworthiness threatened to drown out God's truth in her life.

With honesty and courage, Audrey recounts the pivotal moments when she felt left out of God’s blessings—first as a little girl longing for spiritual gifts, and later as a wife yearning for motherhood. She walks us through the loneliness and grief of miscarriages, including her traumatic experience with an ectopic pregnancy, and the misguided advice and silence that so often surround these struggles. Through it all, Audrey discovers the relentless, redemptive love of a God who never asks us to earn His love and who shows up in the smallest details—including a tattoo and a miraculous pregnancy.

You’re Not Alone—And You’re Not Unworthy; Jesus Makes You Worthy!

Audrey’s story is a beacon to anyone who has ever questioned their value in God’s eyes or felt unworthy of good things. She reminds us that the lies we believe—whether from our upbringing, our culture, or our circumstances—are exactly the kinds of "stuff God never said." Instead, God’s truth is that you are deeply loved, seen, and worthy—not because of what you do, but because you are His child.

What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
    • The damaging effects of believing lies about God’s character and your worth
    • The heartbreak and hidden grief of infertility and miscarriage
    • The importance of healthy, loving community during seasons of loss
    • The freedom found in embracing God’s unconditional love
    • Practical encouragement for anyone walking through infertility, loneliness, or spiritual confusion

Whether you are in a season of waiting, walking through loss, or just need to be reminded of who God really is, Audrey’s story will strengthen your faith and encourage you to seek the truth of what God really says. Don’t carry your pain alone—join us in this honest conversation and let’s fight the lies together.
