Yes, I love Jackie Chan, sue me! This week I talk about the 1998 film that, to me, is his American debut. This film not only showcased his action style but it allowed American movie goers to see how funny he is. My look back at the crappy comic book movies my friends and I had to endure back in the day continues with Generation X. The comic was decent but this failed TV pilot is criminal! The show/movie barely resembles anything from the comic, the acting is horrible and the effects.............words fail me. I watched it when it debuted to support comic books on screen but I couldn’t support it. Sadly you can still find it on YouTube but unless you wanted your brain to melt just listen to me eviscerate it.....

Look, there was a time when comic book films were downright horrible and this offering from 1997 is no exception.....but it’s fun to trash it! Shaq is an amazing personality but he is no action star and Judd Nelson........words fail me.

Spoof films are great but this 1984 classic is my all time favorite. Written by the guys that gave you Airplane! and The Naked Gun films, it stars Val Kilmer as an Elvis type hero trapped in 1980’s East Germany along with the French Resistance.....wait ....what??

Why has it taken me so long to podcast about Chuck Norris?? He was the first martial artist and action star I remember watching and this 1983 film is by far my favorite. Not only does David Carradine make a great villain but this film marks the start of “Bearded Chuck Norris”!

Is Betty going to become a serial killer? Is Reggie this seasons breakout star? More importantly is Swangs a legit ship and can John Cena ever unsee what he saw???? Ahhhh Riverdale, how we love thee so!!

This film is the definition of “so bad it’s good” and I’ve been waiting to discuss it for some time now. Can gymnastics and martial arts combine for box office gold? No, but it makes for god awful fun!
