This year on #TheBeastCast we're focusing on communication.  We want to make sure we're communicating more in our marriage but also in our work relationships -- whether that be with different clients, bosses, or coworkers.  This means focusing on the words we use and not making assumptions about others. It's a simple topic but as you'll see in this episode -- a very poignant one.

Another late night episode where Hallease works through her feelings of being overwhelmed and Mr. Hallease tries to understand her point of view. This is a pretty raw conversation and shows how we actively work through communicating with each other. 

After a long and challenging 2018, we've settled into our apartment and are now having to contend with figuring out what our new normal is as a married couple.  We had learned how to weather the storm, ignoring individual grievances to stay sane, but now that the load is lifted who are we? 

Mr. Hallease and I weigh in on the much-debated discussion of B. Smith and her husband Dan Gasby.  What does it truly mean to love someone "for better or worse" and "in sickness and in health?" How does the definition of marriage evolve as we age and our roles inevitably change? This was a really hard topic to cover on the Beast Cast, it forces us all to come to terms with mortality and the different ways we can lose a spouse even when they're still technically living.
