Thursday of the Twenty-Sixth Week in Ordinary Time. In today's readings, Saint Paul calls the Galatians "stupid" and Jesus calls people "wicked." Father Dave points out that this is done to remind us of our flawed nature, and to remember who God is and what he is calling us to, especially since it's easy it is to fall off of the path.
