Story Transcript:

Sl: V poznem junijskem popoldnevu, ko sonce nežno poboža staro stavbo dijaškega doma v središču mesta, se je začela prava pustolovščina.
En: On a late June afternoon, when the sun gently caressed the old building of the student dormitory in the city center, a real adventure began.

Sl: Dijaška dom je bil čudovit, obdan z zelenimi travniki, ki jih je krasil veličasten hrast.
En: The dijaška dom was beautiful, surrounded by green meadows adorned with a majestic oak.

Sl: Šola je bila polna življenja.
En: The school was full of life.

Sl: Vsi so se pripravljali na prihajajoči izlet.
En: Everyone was preparing for the upcoming trip.

Sl: Nejc, mlad in radoveden dijak, se je že nekaj dni razmišljal, kaj obleči na tem izletu.
En: Nejc, a young and curious student, had been thinking for days about what to wear on this trip.

Sl: Želel je narediti dober vtis na sošolce.
En: He wanted to make a good impression on his classmates.

Sl: In tako sta se z Matevžem odpravila na nakupovanje v bližnje trgovine.
En: So, Nejc and Matevž set off shopping in the nearby stores.

Sl: Ta del mesta je bil kot nalašč za takšne popoldneve - mali butiki z oblačili in ulične tržnice, kjer so trgovci ponujali vse od sveže zelenjave do unikatnih oblačil.
En: This part of the city was perfect for such afternoons - little boutiques with clothes and street markets where vendors offered everything from fresh vegetables to unique clothing.

Sl: "Tjaša, res potrebujem tvojo pomoč," je rekel Nejc, ko sta z Matevžem naletela nanjo pred eno izmed trgovin.
En: "Tjaša, I really need your help," Nejc said when he and Matevž ran into her in front of one of the shops.

Sl: Tjaša je vedno nosila najnovejše modne trende in ji ni bilo mar pokazati, kje stoji.
En: Tjaša always wore the latest fashion trends and wasn't shy about showing her style.

Sl: "Rabim nekaj, kar bo res izstopalo.
En: "I need something that will really stand out."

Sl: "Tjaša se je nasmehnila in prijela Nejca za roko.
En: Tjaša smiled and took Nejc by the hand.

Sl: "Seveda!
En: "Of course!

Sl: Poglejmo, kaj imamo tukaj.
En: Let's see what we've got here.

Sl: Moraš biti udoben, a tudi moden.
En: You need to be comfortable, but also fashionable."

Sl: " Prehodili so nekaj trgovin, Tjaša je pomagala Nejc izbrati oblačilo.
En: They walked through a few stores, with Tjaša helping Nejc choose an outfit.

Sl: Pogled na majico s kratkimi rokavi in moderne kratke hlače je Nejcu razjasnil obraz.
En: The sight of a T-shirt and stylish shorts brightened Nejc's face.

Sl: Problem se je pojavil pri blagajni.
En: The problem arose at the checkout.

Sl: Nejc je z zaskrbljenim obrazom ugotovil, da mu manjka nekaj evrov.
En: Nejc realized with a worried face that he was short a few euros.

Sl: Matevž je to opazil, premislil trenutek, nato pa vzel ven svojo denarnico.
En: Matevž noticed this, thought for a moment, then took out his wallet.

Sl: "Ne sekiraj se, Nejc.
En: "Don't worry, Nejc.

Sl: Pokrijem razliko.
En: I'll cover the difference.

Sl: Pomembno je, da si srečen," je rekel Matevž z nasmeškom.
En: It's important that you're happy," Matevž said with a smile.

Sl: "Res?
En: "Really?

Sl: Hvala, Matevž, res si pravi prijatelj," je dejal Nejc z olajšanjem, ko je Matevž plačal.
En: Thanks, Matevž, you really are a true friend," Nejc said with relief as Matevž paid.

Sl: Nejc je na poti nazaj v dijaški dom bil nasmejan bolj kot kadarkoli prej.
En: On the way back to the dijaški dom, Nejc was smiling more than ever before.

Sl: Zdelo se mu je, kot da novo oblačilo ni le oblačilo – imelo je neko posebno moč, da je postajal bolj samozavesten.
