SU LAX POD

The boys return to preview the 2026 season. We go through a roster outlook, schedule release, our breakout performer, and our starting 9 ( our thoughts on who it should be).

Cam Brian Matt and Dan are back with the first ever snake draft on the pod. We start out the episode with Matts card corner. Matt promotes the new trading cards that just got released. We than jump right into the Snake Draft with Matt leading off with Mikey Powell as his number 1 pick. The draft continued until it ended with Round 12.

Matt, Jack and Dan are back again. Jack took over the social media and has done a great job. We jumped right into the Fall Ball discussion with a conversation about the Princeton/Army scrimmages in NJ. We discussed the stat lines and what it means. Touched on the first local scrimmage for the first time in a while. Matt talked about what the crowd was like at Jamesville Dewitt. We discussed some observations that Matt saw. We talked about the home schedule release for the both the men's and women's side. We finished with a discussion on who impressed us the most during Fall Ball.

Jovan Miller stopped by the podcast to chop it up about everything Syracuse Lacrosse. We started with some introductions in Jack Knight (newest member to join the team) and Jovan. We went through some listener questions. We also discussed the expectations for fall ball and determined whether or not the last years seasons was determined to be a success. Jovan expressed some things to watch for the next few weeks. We also talked about the state of Section 3 lacrosse and what the prep schools impact has had on the lack of talent staying home vs going to a prep school. We finished the episode with having Jovan try and guess the 13 4 time USILA ALL AMERICANS.

We disccuss the image that Syracuse Lacrosse social team put out describing some pretty eye popping numbers including National Championships (15) Number of Coaches in Program History (5) and Number of 4-time USILA All Americans (13)

We tried a fun excercise where Matt challenged Dan to see if he could name the 13 All Americans.

We start off the episode with some huge news on the womens side as Regy Thorpe was introduced as the womens coach. We discuss what it means for the program and what it means recruiting wise. We also touch on how the former SU players are doing early in their post Syracuse careers.

SU LAX FAM. We return with a great episode recapping Saturdays thrilling victory. Matt started with his soap box topic of the week: Joey Spallina is the real deal and called out his haters. We recap some key moments with Cam who was able to attend this game. We finish with a Maryland preview.

Cardiac Cuse is surviving and advancing. We are back after a what can only be called one of the greatest comebacks to see live. Matt and Dan are joined by recurring guest Cam.
