How do we move from being mere "fans" of Jesus, to becoming full-on followers? How do we avoid settling for a "lukewarm" faith, and learn to invite Jesus into every corner of our lives? On Sunday we learned from His final letter to the 7 churches in Revelation, and were inspired to more fully pursue Him!

It's so easy to slip into "hypocrisy" with our faith--which keeps us from really experiencing God, and keeps others from seeing the real God. So how do we live an authentic/sincere faith instead? On Sunday we learned practical ways to keep our faith & actions aligned--and some beautiful promises from Jesus of what's ahead when we do!

On Sunday we learned how to recognize what God has given us & entrusted us with, no matter how "small & insignificant" it may seem to us--and be faithful with it. Then we get to see God multiply it and do more than we ever imagined in our lives!

We all face seasons of "trouble" & suffering, and they can be really challenging for our faith. So on Sunday we learned how to find hope in lots of promises from God, so we can know that our suffering is never wasted--it can strengthen us, nourish others, lead us to a "crown of life", and so much more!

This Sunday we kicked off our new series based on the "letters to the seven churches" in Revelation--and we learned how to return to the passion we first had in our faith, by re-focusing on love.

It's hard being stuck in "the waiting rooms" of life--and it can really test our faith. On Sunday we learned how to endure those long waiting seasons, to develop patterns of obedience & faith, to trust that God is always working, and to not give up...

Whenever we're having our faith tested in the "waiting rooms" of life, we're gonna be tempted to take shortcuts—which end up short-changing our lives! On Sunday we learned why to quit settling for shortcuts, and some practical ways to trust God's perfect timing instead! (and why "bamboo" is a powerful picture of it)

How do we live our lives in ways that make a real impact, leave a legacy, and leaves things behind that live on after we're gone? On this Sunday we learned from the life of Elijah (and from Jesus) two important ways to invest in & impact other people, so that God can create a real legacy through our lives--and have it change us in the process.
