Men love to quote Ephesians 5:22 which says the wives are to submit. They use to dominate and manipulate the wives, which only frustrates the wives. We have to keep reading..

◦Ephesians 5:25 says, husband loves your wives like Christ loves the church. But there is big question here… HOW did Christ love the church. He was submitted. Think of Jesus in the garden asking the Father to let the cup pass. This is a clear indication that Jesus was dreading the next day and what was to come, but He submitted to the will of the Father. 

◦ As men, we are to submit as well. If we are submitted to the will of God, our wives will trust that their submission to us is healthy, trustworthy, safe and honorable.
