Sermon #1555 – Submission, Order, and the Word That Forms Us

In this continuation of the book of Ephesians, Bishop Paul Sharp taught that God’s design for blessing is rooted in submission to His Word.

From marriage to family to the workplace, God established order—not to limit us, but to position us for favor and spiritual growth.

True submission is not weakness—it is alignment with God’s authority. When we submit to God and to one another in the fear of the Lord, we create an environment where His blessing can flow.

Bishop emphasized that words matter. Just as Christ sanctifies the church through His Word, our words shape our homes, our marriages, and our children.

The health of a home is often a reflection of what is spoken within it.

The key principle is simple:The Word works.

When we obey it, it produces righteousness, unity, and blessing in every area of life.
