Wanted a Stronger Conflict

Compared to the first story in this series, this one had a weaker conflict keeping them apart. It was simply a big misunderstanding because they didn't talk to each other, and the reasons they were too scared to communicate with each other weren't really convincing. Their silence seemed to be more because the plot needed it than about their personalities.

Sweet Story

James is a successful man who is widowed and left to raise his two daughters. Two years ago he hired Rose and things were going great. Rose loves being Jill and Julie Harwood's nanny. She has really grown to love the two little girls. James feels it's time the girls had a mother again, so he gets engaged to Genevieve, a lady the girls do not like. When James starts to see things he hadn't noticed before, like how kind and attractive Rose is, and things slowly start to change. This was sweet story, I really enjoyed. I found the story line interesting and loved the characters. James and Rose had an ease and playfulness about them that draws you in. I am Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Rose becomes the Substitute Bride in the Beaufort Brides Book 2. James is thrilled as march toward their HEA.

I began reading Noelle three years ago and have never been disappointed. I love her stories and the way that she tells them. Rose and James become aware of their attraction but neither wants to admit it at first. When the ex realizes what she is losing (status) she becomes quite pesky and really scares the girls. Rose and James pretend an engagement but everyone wants it to be real and Grandma always knows best. Do not miss any of Noelle's sexy and sweet stories. I love this one too.

Another great read

This author is slowly becoming a new favorite! I've read four books and have yet to be disappointed. I love her characters, her wit and story flow makes it easy to read through the book. I'm eagerly waiting for the third book in this series and I would recommend this book to people who love a good heart warming story.

and it has some great laugh out loud moments

I'm used to Nora Roberts books, which go love-sex-marriage (or sex-love-marriage). It was quite refreshing to read a series of books that go more or less marriage-sex-love. Some of the plots for the series are weak, but the characters are real and delightful (both the men and the women), the men aren't too alpha male, and it has some great laugh out loud moments.
