The Lads get together to discuss Nick's recent travels across the US and get into some of the perks of traveling in the winter (like discounted lodging!).  Nick talks about "train people" on the Amtrak Zephyr train from Denver to San Francisco (Emeryville) and the beautiful sites seen going through the Rockies, desert, and Sierras.  Then onto Yosemite (also by train + bus) and its snow-covered valley with plenty of hiking and small crowds.  Finally to rainy but quiet Zion where the park is almost to yourself - a far cry from summer traffic jams.  Josh discusses some of the near-home outdoors activities with the kids and the Lads both reminisce about a couple of their past work-park trips.
