Artie Guerrero is a 67 year old Vietnam veternan and Denver, Colorado native. He attained the rank of Sergeant in the US Army, was deployed in 1966 and returned home in 1967 with extensive injuries to both his shoulders, hand and legs from grenade shrapnel. While being a true war hero, his heroism extended as a VA advocate for 44 years and leading the National Paralyzed Veterans of America organization. 

He has traveled cross country on his bike to promote Vet program despite MS. Honored by Sports Illustrated, CNN and Channel 7 Denver as an Everyday Hero, Artie was never able to on a honeymoon with his wife Catherine.
