Today's guest, Tracie Stern, has mastered the fear of reinventing herself, being successful and then starting over in different industries. She is a serial entrepreneur whose advice and encouragement helps others learn to bet on themselves by being willing to go for their dreams, even in challenging times.

Tracie Stern was a successful, International Plus Sized model for 25 years, represented by powerhouse agencies like Elite Model Management, FORD NY, and Wilhelmina NY. Her clients included Levi’s, Target, Walmart, Sears, JCPenney, Vanity Fair Lingerie and companies around the world. In addition to her entertainment career---acting in commercials and small films, hosting TV shows and live events, and producing photo shoots and fashion shows. Today she is a real estate investor, Handywoman and consultant. Her company, The Curvy Flipper, empowers women through local home improvement workshops, inspiring them to pursue renovations themselves and to achieve their goals both personally & professionally. She is currently working on her second book, which tracks her journey from modeling to real estate development.

This is a follow up to the Treasure Transformation that Anita conducted with real people to help them increase their financial literacy. In an effort to educate as many people as possible about making better choices with their finances, the team at SuccessFULL Living decided to follow individuals/families as they seek to improve their finances.

The unidentified participants agreed to serve as examples in hopes of inspiring others who might identify with their stories. We have followed them along their journeys to improvement. 

In this show, the participants provide a recap of their situation and an up of their current financial picture, in their own words.

Yolanda Moore is a woman whose relentless will fueled her drive and overcame the stereotypes of being a teen mom to become a two-time WNBA Champion, Author, Best-Selling Author, and Division I Head Women’s Basketball coach.

Her background includes leadership roles in retail management, financial sales, secondary and higher education, and career development. Yolanda holds bachelor degrees in English and Radio & TV, a master’s degree in Workforce Educational Leadership, a specialist degree in Education Technology, and is completing her PhD in Instructional Systems & Workforce Development. She is a career coach with extensive experience in recruiting and talent acquisition and has managed departmental budgets in excess of $700,000.

 She was handpicked by world renowned motivational speaker Dr. Eric Thomas, also known as “ET the Hip Hop Preacher” to be the first female speaker featured on his acclaimed YouTube Series, ”Thank God It’s Monday” and as a recurring speaker at his weekly student empowerment session, The Success Series, held each school year on the campus of Michigan State University.

On this episode  Anita interviews Tracie Stern who has been in the plus size modeling industry for over 20 years. A native Canadian, Tracie moved to the US in 1996 to pursue her career and has never left.

Married in 2004, she and her husband have 2 beautiful boys, aged 12 and 9, both who are following in their mother's footsteps walking the runway. In 2005, Tracie realized that a lifestyle of jet-setting wasn't realistic with a newborn, and so began her 12-year network marketing profession.

Today Tracie combines her modeling career with business branding using network marketing as her platform to help women reach their authentic self.

On episode 3 Anita speaks with Tia Glenn Honore', is a Licensed Professional  Counselor Intern and a Nationally Certified Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  Her professional credentials, innate compassion for clients and extensive athletic background equip her to focus on the three pillars of her practice: the individual, the families of perpetrators as the other victims of violent crimes and the Mental Athlete as a catalyst to physical performance.

Life is full of changes, those transitions can present emotional and mental challenges that need to be addressed on an individual, family or couple’s platform.  She believes the strength to deal with these transitions lies within. There…we find the essence of our joy.  She is passionate about family, sports, therapy and helping others. Even when that help extends to individuals stigmatized for their connection to perpetrators.  Families of perpetrators are also victims who are often overlooked and require healing as well.

Today’s society exposes individuals to a variety of experiences too soon and too intense, when compounded with life’s everyday stressors they can become overwhelming.   The stress impacts each person differently and can interfere with carrying out daily tasks as well as the physical performance in sports.

Her experiences as both an athlete and a coach equip her with a unique perspective and understanding of the issues athletes encounter that impact performance.  She works with the athlete to enhance the ability to be coached, effectively practice and perform in an overall healthier mental state.

On Episode 1 Anita interviews CEO, Author, Speaker and Change Agent Jason Warner. Jason is the Chief Vision Owner and thought leader behind the Own The Vision Foundation.
