to begin with, my new years' wishes for all of you would be the sweetest, mischievous and most of al affectionate yet fulfilled 2025.
as i am a true expert by experience in the field (not to be confused with jerkinism s.v.p.), i assume that all those wishes and ‘good intentions’ are a ‘reflection’ of peoples’ dubious, or at least, questionable self-consciousness... but who said they're no good?…
...as nye is right behind us it is time to wrap all of this up; coming straight to the point where i’m firmly wishing all' of you them prayers mentioned above come true.
and check this out: the’re may are coming 10 more of them desires your way, if you come up with some proper ideas -within 15 seconds, ofc. (...)
however.. to me, being invited to play this 2h opening set at the legendary 'confetteria' party (or better explained as this phenomenal affair), felt more than an honour and major compliment of these same underground chiefs who brought me my dear debute @capsulerecordings’ first rave of summer '23. moreover, one told me that the music i played, took him back to the moment he started dj'ing.. him sharing this blissful memory of pure joy with me, just because of the tracks i selected… well, these feelings mean the world to me, as in the end, THAT'S what it is all about, right? house music was born to set friendly bounds over non-understandable conflicts and connects them souls, by dancing, smiling, and most of all, sharing their groove driven by chunky beats and cheeky hats.. anyhow, thank you for following me during my journey so far, and also for those who are made their sweet acquaintances only recently.
especially as my sharing is beyond acknowledgement, it takes some proper ass to dive into this sucre. approach regarding this kinda 'under-the-radar'- modus-operandi.
thus, as sucre. proudly endeavours being a flowerpower ambassador, with outermost enthusiasm and great respect the invitation to open confetteria: 'vive la nostalgie ~ chic & magnifique ~ anniversaire dixième' was accepted.
attention, attention les capitaine and les dammes; une petit piece-peux of candy showed some determinatión to deliver un punchy trip down friendly underground lanes, promising nothing to expect than a fine selection dug-up straight from the good oll' days, resembling underground aux un flourish touch!
as a result, it all ended up mixing 34 tracks, dragged out a variety of never-ending jams played in the past while unveiling some brand spanking-new unreleased sucre. tracks... 😼
unfortunately, the recording isn’t as clean as you should expect from sucre.; which is an obvious consequence for sleazy risks which were taken, e.g. running out of time, match-doubts, being fixed on certain tracks i had to find, some rough looping (fyi: quick-fixed), accompanied with sometimes slightly sloppy counting... but guess what. it turned out to be the perfect mix 'n match...!!😍 i never had such an experience before, playing a packed room this size, full of dressed-up handsome folks. time did not exist, and suddenly i was realising that this intense feeling of happiness took over my body and mind, while it seemed like i was playin' this never ending mix... ∞
while noticing i was surrounded by people who are really dear to me, i had the pleasure of catching faces expressing indulgence in its’ purest form.
well.. i simply adored it, and hearing some of my fav' slappy beats at this fancy, well-established soirée totally knocked it off. together we celebrated the arrivé of a fresh and friendly 2025, whilst covered in jackin' style confetti decadence... ✮✶𝄪
i wish you all one of a more fortunate, healthy & housy new year, topped with loads of glitter and sweet love..!! ❣
