It was written by a present Waterloo Region Catholic School Board Trustee and Registered Psychotherapist Wendy Ashby. As reported by Jonathan Kay on Twitter (https://twitter.com/jonkay/status/1641778329031254017), Ashby goes on to attack Christian women as well , “White women make obedient soldiers for the christofascist patriarchy.” Why would a white Catholic woman say such hurtful things? Seems peculiar, but I’ll let you the voters ask her yourself. However, we can know the answer why we Christians are being attacked. We serve a Saviour who was crucified and since we follow Him, we should expect to suffer. What should our response be? 1 Peter 4:12-19 tells us: Rejoice! Consider ourselves blessed and praise God for being worthy enough to suffer for the name of Jesus Christ.
