Michael Potthoff continues our Reflect series, challenging us to be a community like the men on the roof & not those in the crowd. People who extend grace to bring them close to Jesus, not like those standing in the way of Him.

Mark Howell reminds us of some very good news. God's Grace is inexhaustible & unfair & something we all desperately need.

We talk with our most recent team to go to Guatemala, learning from their experiences of pursuing reconciliation.

We focus on four key words found in 2 Corinthians 5, "Everything is From God" and celebrate that our reconciliation with God isn't fair but overwhelmingly generous.

We start the morning with a prayer for our Upcoming Guatemala Trip. Then, we look at 5 Characteristics of a Patient community: Remember, Resemble, Reciprocate, Reflect, and Reject(ing) the posture of patience that doesn't grab a hold of the bag of Marshmallows.

We speak some Greek talking about Patience/Endurance (hypomone) and Patience/Forbearance (makrothymia). Seeing makrothymia as a characteristic of God, we dive into the generous patience of God, who at this moment continues to display his patience towards us so that even more may believe in Christ for eternal life.

We are joined by Kim Wilson and Sean McCoy as e discuss their efforts after hurricane Harvey to pursue those in need.

The word lost brings up ideas of unloved, unwelcome, or unclaimed. But in the three stories Jesus tells, we learn that God pursues those who are lost an in doing so shows that Lost means Loved.

As those made in the Image of God, we have a unique God given ability to see the Gospel become more and more authentic in our lives. This will take place as we, empowered by the Holy Spirit, know it more with our hearts and in our actions.

This Sunday, we prayed for our city and talked about the miraculous truth that with Jesus, our Nothing becomes Something to Give.
