Today’s episode I talk to you about suicide awareness around the holidays. When we enter the holiday season, the suicide rate number goes up. And why is that? Is because people that suffer with mental health illness in our depressed get to the breaking point that they think that they are hopeless and worthless; They start to think that they have no way out of the problems they’re dealing with. This is a hard time for a lot of people. I myself am a survivor and this is why I speak so highly about the awareness. Now I know that this episode may cause a trigger And I am very sorry about that, but this topic needs to be talked about because it seems like it really is not talked about. It seems like people just wanna sweep it under the rug and not talk about it. As I mentioned in the episode that I’m going to place, the number to the suicide hotline in my description and that number is actually a calling and texting number. You can call or text 988. If you live near our close by a crisis center, you can call them directly. Please do not hesitate to call that number if you or somebody you know is having suicidal thoughts. That one phone call can save your life or another person’s life. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about this episode or my podcast, please feel free to email
