What if Frosty made you frozen with fright? It's that time of year, when hominochionophobics are staying far away from any holiday fun associated with snowmen. Is it the anthropopmorphic characteristics? The uncanny valley effect? Maybe they don't like carrots? Or snow? We plow into the Fear of Snowmen and why someone might not feel very festive around around decorated snow people. So, to avoid Kris having a total hissy fit, we're talking the Scottish, zombie horror, dark comedy, musical, "Anna and the Apocalypse" (2017). This movie is.....not about snowmen. In all fairness though, it does have a zombie in a snowman costume as the first kill. Close enough, right? Then, we're really rolling up our mittens and digging ourselves a big old snowball with 1997's "Jack Frost." This was really a snowman horror genre defining cinematic masterpiece featuring the "world's most pissed off snow cone!" It also, may just change your opinion on carrots... for better or worse. So pull up your snow boots and grab a shovel as we carve some fresh pow in Episode 28... the Fear of Snowmen!

Halloween is the most wonderful time of the year...for some people.
To those suffering from Samhainophobia, the witches, gouls and goblins strike fear in their hearts and cause them to hide away until the holiday is over.
We dive into the history of Samhain, the foundation for our modern Halloween festivities. Then our resident expert talks all about how this holiday can be a nightmare for those with a Fear of Halloween.
After that it's on to Halloween anthologies! We figured, let's pick some movies where we get more bang for our buck, right?! Our Honorable Mention is 2015's "Tales of Halloween" where we're talking 10 original shorts played out over a small town on Halloween night. Followed by our Feature Presentation, the kickass, cult classic, Halloween standard, 2007's "Trick 'r Treat.

It doesn’t REALLY get rolling until we dig into the crazy trypo-triggering, metaphorical hole filling, Season 7 of American Horror Story. This CULT Season is ripe with trypophobic images (especially the marketing), but we go way beyond the physical holes. We get super deep in this one folks. Be prepared! For our Feature Presentation, it's time for a Halloween night massacre hosted by our newest favorite horror character, Art the Clown, in Damien Leone's "Terrifier." Seriously, David Howard Thornton is freaking amazing in this role and we can't wait for the sequel.
