Note: This is a summary of The Undoing Project and not the original book.
Extroverts are always the limelight of any party, while introverts prefer to keep to themselves in that quiet corner. But who knew that these two kinds of people, so different, could actually become such great friends?
Michael Lewis is a financial journalist and best-selling author of The Undoing Project, Flash Boys, The Big Short, The Liar's Poker, and Moneyball, among other works. He writes on various subjects and two of his books about sports were even made into movies.
The Undoing Project is a story of the friendship of two Israeli psychologists, Amos Tversky and Daniel Kahneman, circling around the theme of cognitive psychology. Tversky was the extrovert, confident and smart. Kahneman, on the other hand, was an introvert who was even smarter, but had a lot of self-doubt. This story of an unlikely friendship between two friends who complemented each other so well is both thought-provoking and emotional, engaging your brain and heart.
"The human mind was just bad at seeing things it did not expect to see and a bit too eager to see what it expected to see. Confirmation." (Michael Lewis)
This book is far more than just another book about exploring cognitive biases. This book is about friendship and the hard truth about the human mind. As Michael Lewis says, the human minds want to see what it wants to see - "confirmation" - and this leads us to unconsciously trick ourselves and others. The Undoing Project is a fascinating story about friendship, the human mind, and even the history of Israel. Prepare yourself as you embark on an adventure that will leave you weeping and wowed at the end.
If you truly want to explore more about the human minds with a compelling story, this book is perfect for you.

What a great read! If you are at all concerned or interested in how we homo sapiens systematically fool ourselves, this book is for you.
Turns out the human brain/mind has some biases and tricks that are largely transparent to its owner - and its these tricks "behavioral economics" is trying to account for.
Book is essentially a pamphlet that should be removed from Amazon's offerings
This book is useless as a summary and a total waste of money. In my view it should not be carried by Amazon.
but not as good as Michael Lewis's previous works
Interesting, but not as good as Michael Lewis's previous works.
Satisfactory
This book is satisfactory, but could be much better with some editing. When the subject and verb don't agree and the pronouns change gender, it appears to have never had even a cursory proofing.
it's a waste of time and money
This is a cynical and manipulative way of making money!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT...it's a waste of time and money....the ''book'' is done cheaply and adds NOTHING to me intellectually!!
