This week on The Sipping Point Laurie invited Aaron Joseph of Wit & Wisdom to mix up a few Summer Cocktails you are going to love! Then she tastes some innovative flavors of ice cream with David Alima, owner of The Charmery.

What we tasted:

Hemingway Daiquiri
1.5 oz of light rum (papas pilar 3yr)
.75 lime juice
.5 grapefruit juice
.25 marschino liqueur
.25 oz simple syrup

Served up in a coupe or martini glass and garnish with a grapefruit peel

Fruits of Labor
1.5 rhum agricole (clemente select barrel)
.5 oz lime
1.5 oz spiced guava syrup

Served in an double old fashion glass over ice and garnished with an orchid and mint sprig.
