Summer..
Wow, this book was really good. I enjoyed it. The food.. the deserts.. and the two of them Summer and Blake. Well written and combined. A must hear. I loved the way it was put together. Thank you Nora Roberts.
Sweet Story
This was not a great story, but it was cute and sweet. It entertained me and kept me interested until the end. The story made you want to know what was going to happen and how it would end. Summer and Blake are interesting enough. The sequel to this is Lessons Learned and they play off of each other.
No doubt this was one of Nora Robert's earlier books.
If you are looking for a short quick sweet story this is it.
Nellie Chalfant does a good job with the narration.
One of my favorites
I know this is one of Ms. Roberts older books...but I just love this story. The narration was impeccible. Thi is one of my feel good books.
Not bad...
If you are a Nora Roberts fan (and I am!), this story typifies her earlier works. It has all the elements of her romances, although they were slightly dated. But if you are looking for a light read without a lot of drama, this will fit the bill.
Nothing but Lucy, no substance to the story!!
This book was not for me. I was hoping for a light romance with a little substance, but it was more a lust for food and lustful romance. More sex than loving relationships. Though if that is what you're looking for, the book was written fairly well.
Summer Lyndon, super chef who commands respect and large payments for her delectable treats, is hired by Blake Cocharan, successful hotel owner, to super class his hotel restaurants. The attraction is immediate and goes through some issues before all live happily ever after.
The best part was the narration of the book on audio. Great accents.
