In the same vein it’s hard for all of us to make sense of things or figure out where things are going. So all of this leads to a sense of worry that isn’t. Feelings of fear that aren’t. Above all wanting to take action but not being quite sure what action to take.

For instance, when we dream we often have a sense of moving toward an objective but not being able to reach it.

On the other hand we in the upper Midwest are living through probably one of the best summers in years.

Past Summers During Crises

Finally in view of the economic situation one wonders whether people really understood what was happening in the early stages of the Great Depression back in the early 1930’s.

Losing Control

They experienced it all in color. Like a dream. Events moving forward they couldn’t predict or control.

Good News Too

To sum up friends have told me recently they’re done with the news. Done with social media. Tired of arguing. Consequently there’s a renewed focus on the things closest to them. Family. Friends. Themselves.

Talk It Out
