LABEL: Summer-ized Sessions

CAT. #: SS053

GENRE: Tech House

FORMAT: Digital

GENERAL RELEASE: 16th January 2026

-----------------------

01. Maxinne feat. Cami Jones – What We Do (Sasha GiGi Remix)

02. Maxinne feat. Cami Jones – What We Do (Daniel Dash Remix)

03. Maxinne feat. Cami Jones – What We Do (Shane Fernandes Remix)

-----------------------

DESCRIPTION:

We’re opening 2026 with a triple-threat remix package, because some records just deserve another spin.

Originally released in 2021, Maxinne & Cami Jones’ ‘What We Do’ has become a long-standing Summer-ized favourite — now returning with three fresh interpretations from artists shaping the next wave of the label.

First up is Sasha GiGi, taking Cami Jones’ vocal as the starting point and wrapping it around a groovy, sexy bassline, tight percussion and her trademark quirky touches. A feel-good house rework that still lets the song do the talking.

Next, Daniel Dash flips the track into a groove-led house weapon. Disco-inspired stabs, tight drums and a stripped-back arrangement give his version a bright, rhythmic lift — familiar enough to hook you in, but reimagined for 2026 floors.

Closing out the package, Shane Fernandes takes it into heavier late-night territory. Driving grooves, a hint of acid, and an underground edge that nods to the original without ever playing it safe. A club-focused cut designed for sweatbox moments.

Three takes, one Summer-ized Sessions classic — bringing the winter heat.

GENERAL RELEASE: 5th December 2025

01. Better Than Lex - Drummin' Action (Original Mix)

-----------------------

DESCRIPTION:

When the drums hit like this, you don’t overthink — you move.

‘Drummin Action’ sees Better Than Lex return to Summer-ized Sessions with another groove-first, percussion-heavy roller made for packed floors and low ceilings. Funk-laced bass and crisp hats drive the rhythm forward, while a slick vocal chop cuts through the mix with just the right amount of attitude. It’s bold, playful, and built for DJs who like to keep things moving.

After dropping ‘Acapulco Heat’ earlier this year, Better Than Lex continues to carve out his own lane with support from Fedde Le Grand, Mark Knight, Illyus & Barrientos, and spins across Toolroom Radio and Mambo Ibiza. With ‘Drummin Action,’ he doubles down on what he does best — groove, grit, and pure house energy.

There’s a certain swagger to this one.

A bassline that rolls just right, percussion with a cheeky snap – ‘Bass Like That’ walks the line between funk and fire, with enough groove to move any floor.

Davide Messina brings pure Italian flavour to the UK club sound: chunky drums, a playful rhythm, and that confident strut that says “I know exactly what time it is.”

DESCRIPTION:

Straight from Mexico to the world, Better Than Lex brings serious flavour with Acapulco Heat. A groovy house cut built on memories, heritage, and that late‑night strut.

Inspired by stories of the nightclubs his late father once owned in Acapulco, Lex imagined those nights, groovy, classy, and unapologetically sexy and poured them into this track.

From Mexico's top clubs to stages across Europe and beyond, he's built a reputation for peak time sets and Latin‑tinged house that turns floors inside out. As a producer, his cuts have landed on Beatport's Top 100 and earned support from Fedde Le Grand, Mark Knight, R3wire and Illyus & Barrientos, with spins on stations from Toolroom Radio to Mambo Ibiza.

Acapulco Heat is his love letter to his hometown and the culture that shaped him. Warm, rhythmic, and built to move you.
