- Luigi Rocca - The Joker (Doc Brown Remix)The mighty Doc Brown joins forces with label boss and Summer-ized favourite, Luigi Rocca, bringing us a faithful new take on recent release ‘The Joker’. With hundreds of releases and remixes between them, this outing is another notch on the dial for Doc Brown, whose work in the US cements him as a firm favourite across the water, yet also around Europe and beyond. With a back catalogue that comes supported by the likes of Green Velvet, Solardo, MK and more, Doc Brown returns to Summer-ized Sessions with this insatiable remix of bass-driven hypnotica.Spotify Release: 13th August 2021Beatport Release: 27th August 2021General Release: 10th September 20213 min
- Dalfie - A Face From Another Planet (Original Mix)After a string of certified bangers, we felt it right to go deep 'n' dubby again, calling on Glasgow's very own Dalfie to bring his love of stripped-back 90's House & Techno to the season's groove, but still with very contemporary flavours that work in both the searing heat, and the cooling night air. With title track 'A Face From Another Planet' providing exactly that, with a tough beat and bassline that rolls on under a spaced-out vocal whose aesthetics reference mainstream Electronica. Going deeper [and dubbier] is follow-up Elysium, bringing a bold bassline to a more minimal vocal element, while still offering a driving energy that works both indoors and out.Ideal for the end of a warm-up, or the middle of a peak-time session, both tracks bring a generous warmth while still remaining tough enough to heat things up. Undoubtedly, this is the more spacious side of Tech House, essential to providing much-needed variance to any session, whilst keeping energy levels upfront.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Spotify Release: 2nd July 2021Beatport Release: 16th July 2021General Release: 30th July 2021Cat. - Resident Spotlight Mix: Donna LoveBringing us a brand new mix, getting us rave-ready as much as satiating our hunger for an amazing line-up of events, Love had this to say:“This mix is full of some of my favourite tracks of the last six months, that I’ve been buying, but just not been able to play out. I selected them for their feel good factor, and what I would imagine would get people pumped wherever and whenever they’re listening to it!Of them all, my personal highlights would be Pagano’s ‘Peace & Unity’, and ‘In Your Soul’ by Santez and GIORG. Listening to them gets me raring to go, and I just imagine the reaction to playing them out to a proper crowd! You may well hear one or two of these tracks in my sets at Magic Garden Rave, but my collection has expanded massively over the last 15 months, and there’s a heck of a lot of tracks that are just gasping to be played out to a full club!” - Donna Love55 min

About Summer-ized Sessions Podcast
From the publisher's feed
Summer-ized Sessions is a renowned event brand in London, which has been running hedonistic house music events for six consecutive years.
From humble beginnings as a mix-CD, through weekly radio, to its current incarnation as one of the freshest, most decadent club nights in town, this is a brand that attracts some of the biggest names in Underground House, Tech-house, and Techno.
Coming off the back of their first tour in 2019 - landing at premier spots across the UK such as Mint Warehouse (Leeds), Liquid Rooms (Edinburgh), Gorilla (Manchester), and The Arch (Brighton) - the demand for these parties has meant that 2020 sees a return to these venues and many more!
While Secret Garden Rave continues to soar, getting bigger and bigger each time, the Afterdark and Summer-ized day-party events are a more intimate affair, with headline acts such as 303Lovers and Toolroom’s Maxinne, to name but two!
Always a hub for partygoers from all tribes of life, with their needle-point attention to detail, it’s the close-knit crack-team behind the scenes that ensure each event delivers quality over quantity time and time again, securing Summer-ized Sessions’ place amongst some of the best nights in the world!
