Today where we’re diving headfirst into the 'Summer of Change' at my house. My daughter is moving up to middle school, and my stepson is heading into high school. We’ve upgraded from 'kids' to a pre-teen and a full-fledged teenager. 

God help us.

Imagine my daughter, almost 12, tackling middle school – a two-year episode of 'Survivor' but with braces and acne. My 14-year-old stepson is gearing up for high school, where he’ll learn to drive, get a job, and probably break a few hearts.

We’ll break down the challenges of moving from elementary to middle school, the chaos of high school, and share some nostalgia from the 80s and 90s. Growing up then versus now – how does it compare? And, of course, we'll laugh at the absurdity of it all.
