Now is the height of summer, the time when the sun is the highest in the sky, and the zenith of yang energy. Although, in the West, Summer Solstice is highlighted as the beginning of summer, from a qi perspective it is the beginning of the end of summer. From the solstice onwards yin is birthed, the days begin to get shorter and yang begins its decline.

Now is the time to go full steam ahead with projects and ideas. Everything is flourishing all around us and we can harness this in our behaviour with generosity and friendliness during this time of abundance. It's helpful to fully dive into the projects you chose in the spring for the next six weeks before autumn begins and it becomes the time for completion.
