Welcome back once again to another special episode of the Summer Time Bit Bois. This week, Kurt from The Cultured Christian Podcast has returned to repay the favor and this time we will be asking the questions around here! Join us as we enter the deep philosophical debate of what truly makes a game retro and what are our top choices for games that have left their mark on the industry.
We then move forward to discuss games of the modern era that have continued to shape the face of the gaming landscape and what they meant to us as well. There are a few surprising pics this week as we look beyond our own personal biases toward what we might not want to admit a game changing title actually is.
As always, thanks for joining us and don't forget to hop over to The Cultured Christian Podcast to check out our good buddy Kurt's content as well!

This week the bois take a look at the darker side of gaming amidst this time of doom and gloom. We look at some of the games that broke ahead of their time and weren't afraid to get a little bit nasty when the moment called for it. This sees the bois taking on their first RPG for the show in the form of the often forgotten classic, "Sweet Home" on the "Famicom", a game that would have a long standing impact on the gaming world by being the poster child for "Resident Evil"!
This along with a good old fashioned hack and slash affair with "Splatter House", a game that somewhat borrows heavily from the western slasher genre, and a bit too heavily in some places... Which one stood the test of time and are any of them worth yours? Find out in this week's ghastly episode of the Summer Time Bit Bois!
This week the Bois and going to the hard right and clearing out waves of jobbers one by one. Be it androids based on Arnold, buff dudes saving the dinosaurs or Frank Castle doing what he does best. Come with us on this journey of manly men to find out if we really are bad enough dudes to reach the goal!
This week the Bois are laying the smack-down in more ways than one, looking into games that tried to do their own thing, some that took inspiration and others that just straight up wanted to wear the big boys shoes. Featuring commentary on the shameless "Power Instinct", the unoffensive but ultimately under-cooked "Saturday Night Slam Masters", the little franchise that never could "Eternal Champions" and the SNK gold mines of "Kizuna Encounter"
Which will come out smelling of roses and holding the belt, and who is going home to "be a family man"?
