Simply, racism, homophobia, misogyny, etc., work to exclude any histories that disturb the binary. Thus, in this episode, we will delve into the hidden life story of Fmr. Representative and Ambassador Shirley Chislom to uncover her contributions in government as well as use this as a sort of catalyst into unmasking more histories that remain hidden.

This week we watch Election starring Reese Witherspoon, a movie about a teacher who meddles in a high school election that's reflective of real life. We talk about voter turn out, queer representation, and even Riverdale.
