Prayer is more than religious exercise or ritual. Prayer is a connection to God. It is an intimate conversation with Jesus Himself. It is the intersection of heaven and earth. It is the avenue through which God transports that heavenly into the earthly. It is our lifeline. It is what Gives our spiritual life momentum and power. It is what keeps us connected with the presence of God. When the high waters of this life can feel like they are crashing on us, God gave us a lifeline.
