They knew that the Messiah had come, the one who would remove the Roman occupation, bring in the era of peace and power and return the Jewish people back to their rightful place, and the expected him to do all of these things, but this is not what happened. \n\nHow often do we worship out of expectation, and what happens when Jesus doesn’t meet those expectations?"]]

God consistently provided for the Israelites, even when they felt like He was not. [[:encoded, "As finish our study of the book of Romans with Chapter 16, Paul writes to commend various people in the church. \n\nOne of the best ways to glorify God is to see the clear purpose for which God has saved you. Yes your eternity is a wonderful gift but while we wait for that great day spend your life laboring with others who know the truth, for the purpose of winning as many as possible through the power of God and the beauty of the gospel."]]

[[:encoded, "In Romans 15:23-33, Paul writes about living to advance the kingdom of God and bless others. Though our own plans may change, we must first live our life for the purposes of advancing the kingdom of God and you strive to be a blessing to others"]]
[[:encoded, "As we can see in Romans 15:14-22, everyone who claims to be part of the kingdom of God has a role to play, and that role includes sharing your story so that others might hear of what God has done for you."]]
