☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Andrew unpacks how Jesus enters our humanity to lead us through it, rather than saving from a distance. Using the metaphor of a dilapidated house restored from the inside out, he shows how Christ doesn't just theoretically understand our struggles – He lived them. Through His incarnation, death, and resurrection, Jesus blazed a trail through suffering and death, freeing us from paralyzing fear. Andrew challenges us to see our struggles not as punishment but as participation in God's story of redemption, calling us to lay down self-protection and fear at the cross and embrace the freedom to live boldly as we follow the One who made the way through death to resurrection life.

☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Jim's message from Hebrews 1-2 reveals a crucial truth: Jesus sits enthroned above all spiritual beings—both angels who serve us and dark forces that oppose us. Through stories like a mysterious "Answer to Prayer" tow truck and spiritual battles in Montana, he illustrates the unseen warfare surrounding our lives. The danger? Either ignoring the supernatural entirely or becoming obsessed with it. Instead, we must "pay careful attention" through prayer, Scripture, and community, avoiding spiritual drift. The battleground is real, but victory is assured—Jesus has made every enemy His footstool.

☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Jim revealed how God has spoken His final word through Jesus Christ. From Hebrews 1:1-4, he showed how God's communication evolved from "static-filled" prophetic messages to crystal-clear revelation in His Son—"the radiance of God's glory and exact representation of His being." Just as a marriage proposal shouts commitment, God shouted His love through Jesus's incarnation and sacrifice. Jim emphasized that our relationship with God isn't based on our performance but on Christ's finished work—He has "sat down" because the job is complete. As we begin 2026, let's build our lives on this foundation, finding freedom in trusting Jesus's sufficiency rather than our own efforts.

☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Jim delivers a powerful message centered on the simple yet profound truth: "by faith with God." He urges us to shift our search for answers from the internet to God, highlighting three key pillars from Hebrews 11: God exists, God rewards, and seekers find Him. While acknowledging that faith isn't easy, Jim emphasizes its simplicity and the importance of pursuing God rather than relying on performance. As Summit Church prepares for a collective Scripture journey in 2026, he encourages embracing "by faith with God" as a guiding principle, promising spiritual nourishment and divine guidance through life's challenges.

☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Andrew shares a powerful message about God's reach to ordinary people. Using Ezekiel's prophecy of God's glory leaving the temple, he illustrates how God's presence returned to common shepherds, not religious elites. Through his own 2008 encounter with God, Andrew highlights three key truths: no one is too far from God, too broken for His love, or too ordinary for His purpose. He refutes the idea that spiritual significance requires perfection, showing how Jesus sought out those on the margins. The message calls believers to see their daily lives as mission fields, sharing God's transformative work and embracing their role in His story of redemption.

The message encourages those with broken dreams to bring their pain to God, make righteous choices, and trust in taking Spirit-led steps. The metaphor of broken mirrors forming a Christmas star illustrates how our surrendered brokenness can reflect God's redemptive light.

☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Jim's message highlights how God chose Mary, a young girl from Nazareth, to bring forth Jesus, demonstrating that God often works through the unexpected. He uses examples of influential people from humble beginnings to show that our limitations don't hinder God's extraordinary plans. God chooses the ordinary to reveal His glory, as seen in Mary's story. Though following God can be costly, the "Mary miracle" is available to those who fully surrender. Jim, referencing Luke 1:26-38, explains that we qualify for God's work through faith, being pursued by God, the Holy Spirit's power, witnessing miracles, and trusting God's word.

☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Jim explores the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, showing how God sees and responds to our broken dreams. Their journey from childlessness to becoming parents of John the Baptist illustrates that God often has greater plans than we imagine. Jim connects the 400-year prophetic silence and Malachi's prophecies to Zechariah's encounter with Gabriel, highlighting that we are recipients of God's grace and participants in His story. Sharing personal experiences, Jim offers hope that God can turn disappointments into testimonies. The message invites congregants to break mirrors symbolizing broken dreams, forming a star to reflect God's redemptive light. Trust that God sees, hears, and has bigger plans for you.

☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

In Jim's Thanksgiving message, he outlines God's path to true healing through three transformative moves, based on Isaiah 58 and John 16. We are called to be agents of change, and transformation begins with our own healing. The Holy Spirit corrects misconceptions about sin, righteousness, and judgment, guiding us toward adoption by God. True healing starts with restoring our relationship with God, not just fixing behavior. By moving from alienation to adoption, achieving to receiving righteousness, and feeling doomed to being delivered, we establish the foundation for true healing. The message concludes with a call to guide others to the Father, who is the key to transformation.

☞ ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Jim's message explored the true meaning of belonging to Christ, focusing on spiritual identity and persecution. Drawing from John 15 and 16, he emphasized three key principles: making Jesus our foundation, recognizing our true belonging to God rather than the world, and developing deep and wide roots in our faith. He described the Christian life as a well-watered garden, thriving even in persecution. The message challenged us to consider if we face persecution for genuine faith or mere religious behavior, highlighting that true belonging to Christ sets us apart from worldly systems and empty religion.
