In the third and final week of our Haggai series, we see how God blesses His people and promises that He will be with them as they labor to build His temple.

The prophet Haggai speaks to the people again, encouraging them to be strong and continue in the work of rebuilding the Lord’s temple. These prophetic commands are accompanied by an incredible promise, pointing to the empowering presence of the Lord himself and anticipating a day of greater glory.

In this minor prophet, we will explore the importance of biblical repentance, and how we as a church are called to a greater glory. Christ is worthy of our full allegiance. As we study Haggai’s prophetic words to the exiles returning to Jerusalem, we will reflect on how these truths impact us today.

Based on the end of the story, we know, our future is incredibly bright. The resurrection of Christ is the first fruits of the coming Kingdom! Because of our future, our current mission is empowered. The resurrection of Christ reveals His power and points us to a greater world. As we are unified with Christ, our lives are gifted with authority and our perspective becomes eternally adjusted. The question then becomes, how do we get in on this future? Let’s discuss.
