The story we tell about ourselves shows our identity. How do you think of yourself? As a saint or a sinner?

Since we are made in the image of God it has major significance for how we treat others and how we are to be in relationship with one another. This week's message on being made in His image once again brings relevance to the world we all live in.

The Bible tells us that every person is made in God's image. But what does that mean? And how does that effect our lives?
We will spend the next few weeks looking at the magnificent ramifications of being made in His image.
This week we'll focus on race and ethnicity, how we think about "those" people and how God never makes trash!

It is possible to worship the creation instead of the Creator, we all do it in fact in various ways. But Genesis 1 lays out for us the starting blocks for walking with God. If we miss this, we miss it all, and we are left to our own devices. But if God IS the Creator, that gives us all the meaning and purpose in life we need.

What we believe about the first four words of the Bible set the stage for everything we believe about life, our purpose, God and everything in between.
We begin a new series today in Genesis 1-3 to discover if what we hold today as Christians is tradition or truths.

God's handiwork is everywhere around us, and we don't want to miss it. God really is faithful, compassionate and gracious to us - we want to get to know Him more and more.
This week we look at Psalm 145 and give thanks to God for His work in our lives.

Love walked among us... this truth of Jesus walking among us tells us so much about the very heart of God and how He truly does love us and moves toward us.

Because of who God is... it changes everything! It gives worth to each and every one of us. It changes how we treat others. It changes our homes.
