Summit Ridge Church

Your identity affects everything you think about yourself, it affects the very things you do and what you pursue. Join us in our study of 1 Peter as we see what God says about who we as Christ-followers are and how that encourages our souls to the core!

In tumultuous days we need a firm foundation, a cornerstone to build our lives.
Jesus is the cornerstone for Christians... not moralism, nationalism, not a host of other places we can look for help and security. Christians find it in Jesus.
Be encouraged from what 1 Peter 2:4, 6-8 says to us for living with hope found in Christ.

Our pursuit of happiness drives almost all of our decisions. True happiness and joy is only found only in Christ.

God's and His Word is not only true, but good. We want to experience the sweetness of knowing the Lord in our lives. Join us as we taste and see how life-giving He really is through out study of 1 Peter 2:1-3 today.

2020 may be a dark year for many, but it is just where God specializes - He steps into the darkness! He isn't repelled by the darkness - He enters into it! And He will do that with you too.
Join us as we celebrate our God who is with us.

Christians are called to be holy, but how?
Today's passage shows us five ways to walk more closely with God. Join us in our pursuit of God through our study in 1 Peter.

When can we disobey the government? Does the Bible answer that for us? How are Christians to live in a secular culture? And how can a Christian live under a government authority that we may disagree with?
These are the questions that God's Word answers for us.
Join us as we aim to live honorably with those around us.

Do Christians have to obey the government? When should we disobey? What if we don't like the government mandates? How do Christians live differently in a secular world?
These questions and more are answered in God's Word found in 1 Peter 2:11-17. We will study this passage this week and next. Join us.

We have so many places we can turn for comfort and relief in times of stress and trials and suffering. But Christians have one life-giving place we turn for living hope.
1 Peter 1:3-12 is the message from God's Word we need to experience joy while even in the middle of the pit.

What God says about you matters massively! In fact, it changes your life! Do you know what God says about you?
