The usual podcast hosts are overtaken by Day-lek Cloning Technology, as the classic story Resurrection of the Daleks is discussed.
Resurrection of the Daleks is a serial from the British television series Doctor Who, featuring the Fifth Doctor, played by Peter Davison. It originally aired in two parts in 1984 and marks a dark turning point for the Doctor as he confronts both his arch-enemies, the Daleks, and the brutal realities of their war against humanity.
In the story, the Doctor and his companions, Tegan and Turlough, arrive in a derelict warehouse in London, only to find themselves caught in a violent struggle between human soldiers and Daleks. The Daleks, in their typical ruthless fashion, have devised a plan to break out their creator, Davros, from a high-security prison ship where he's been held in a suspended state for years. They hope he can devise a cure for a deadly virus that has been killing them.
Meanwhile, the Daleks plot to clone the Doctor and his companions to infiltrate and destroy the Time Lord High Council. The Doctor, aided by a group of surviving humans, makes his way to the Dalek-controlled ship to stop Davros and foil the Daleks' schemes. The story takes a grim turn when Davros decides to overthrow the Daleks themselves and seize control.
In the end, the Doctor is forced to confront the dark side of his own character, grappling with the notion of whether he should kill Davros to stop the atrocities. Tegan, disturbed by the violence and disillusioned by the constant danger, ultimately decides to leave the TARDIS, parting ways with the Doctor in a somber farewell.
"Resurrection of the Daleks" is notable for its high level of violence and intense themes, and it leaves a lasting impact on the Doctor and his companions.

It's my birthday week!!!
I thought it might be an interesting show to find a story of Doctor Who Classic that had any episodes being originally broadcasted on November 3rd.
Turns out there's ONLY ONE! Season 17's classic story, "The Creature From The Pit"!
Season 17 turned out to be a special season for quite a few reasons:
- 17 was Graeme William’s last year as Producer
- 17 was also Douglas Adam’s last year as script editor
- 17 was the final season of incidental music by Dudley Simpson
- 17 was the final season of Tom Baker’s amazing tunnel intro sequence
- 17 was the first season of Lalla Ward playing Romana II
- 17 had David Brierly voicing K9 instead of John Leeson
The Creature From The Pit also had a few "milestones":
- The first produced story featuring Lalla Ward as Romana II (though not the first story broadcast)
- The last story directed by Christopher Barry who had directed various Doctor Who stories as far back as William Hartnell's era
I am flying solo in this episode of the podcast, as Collin is busy moving residences and saving his company from certain disaster.
In this story, the neo-Nazi De Flores (Anton Diffring), the 17th-century sorceress Lady Peinforte (Fiona Walker), and the Cyberman vie for control of the Nemesis, a statue containing a living metal which crash-landed near Windsor Castle in 1988.

Hi everyone!
This is just a news update for the podcast, as I've been working on Season 2 of the show. I'm looking to start recording the Season 2 trailer within the next few days with my good friend Collin LeGault (@clegault).
We also go through some of the newer news around Doctor Who, as the 13th Doctor regenerates into the 10th?!!? Disney+!?!?!
We break it down a bit and mention the new awesome logo of the series.
Season One Finale everyone!
A special guest host, Collin Legault joins me in discussing a Tier-list ranking of the stories I covered during this first season of the podcast!
I also wanted to discuss what I thought worked well, and what challenges I had putting this podcast together.

How did you find the first season of this podcast? How do you feel about our rankings of each of these stories?
This is the final story of the Sylvestor McCoy era, which also happens to be the last story of Classic Doctor Who. It will be another 19 years before the next series of Doctor Who begins.

Sylvestor McCoy's first story is...well it's his first story. He's trying to figure things out, while dealing with the Rani, a giant brain, and creatures with eye balls all over their heads. It's no wonder that he almost accidentally kills Mel, while coming up with some bad puns.

The 6th Doctor is in trouble! Put on trial by his own people (AGAIN), the Doctor implicates himself with the charge of genocide of the Vervoids via his own defense. Soon, however, the Master appears to illuminate the situation -- the High Council of Time Lords on Gallifrey made a secret deal with the Valeyard; in exchange for a guilty verdict, the Valeyard will have access to all the remaining regenerations of the Doctor. Crikey!
In a bit of a mess of a season that saw Doctor Who return with a total of 14 episodes, the death of Robert Holmes, Eric Saward quitting the show and Colin Baker getting the sack.
