When people are in love, they can’t help but talk about teach other. There’s something special when you hear, even couples who have been together for decades, speak about each other - there’s a love that’s so evident in the way they speak of one another. In Pastor Terry’s teaching today, he wants you to know that if you love Jesus, then go ahead and talk about Him as much as you want. You can’t get your way in with money, charm, or even enough good works — Jesus is the ONLY WAY!

Most of us have been to a funeral before. Or at least have seen one on TV. Funerals are a time when people gather to mourn the death of their deceased friends, family, and loved ones. Typically, they are a somber occasion, often filled with mourners clothed in black to add to the mood. But in today’s message, Pastor Terry tells you about a funeral that Jesus attended, and how He flipped it upside down. In fact, Jesus came to permanently reverse death for you when you put your faith and trust in Him for eternal life.

“Jesus wept.” This has to be one of the easiest scriptures in the Bible to memorize, yet it is such a loaded statement. When we weep, it’s because of sorrow. Life is overwhelming, someone we love dies, or some other bad news comes up… these are all things that make us weep… but what about Jesus? In Pastor Terry’s message, he suggests that it’s the curse of sin and death on humanity that brought tears to Jesus’ eyes. Thankfully, Jesus came to reverse the curse and set you free from sin and death.

The relationship between a mother and her child is a beautiful thing to consider. When a child is sick, especially an infant, the mother sacrifices much to be there and to care for her child. Even if it means being available to care for and comfort her child all day and all night. Why? Because of her love for that child. Today, Pastor Terry wants you to know that Jesus loves YOU. That’s not just a flippant saying, but it’s the gospel truth. Jesus loves you, and He’ll care for and comfort you even in the hardest times.

Impressionism is an art style that uses visible brush strokes rather than striving to be accurate in the fine details. Although the end result is indeed a decipherable image, when you look up close, it may seem like chaotic blurs of paint. The best way to observe impressionist art is to step back and look at the big picture; the culmination of many brush strokes all come together. Today, Pastor Terry encourages you not to get bogged down by the chaos of life up close but trust that God has a big picture in mind.

When a kid touches a stove and learns that it hurts them because it’s hot, what do they do? Well, they’re usually scared to go near stoves again because they know the repercussions of getting close! In today’s message, Pastor Terry says that’s how we should be with sin. The blood of Christ redeems you, and anything that goes against Him hurts you! Of course, as a Christian, you must flee from sin! Follow His commands and live as Jesus calls you to live! He loves you and wants what’s best for you!

It’s common that in a superhero movie, the bad guy is pursuing immortality. They want to be immortal so they can cause death and destruction forever.
