As we approach the holiday season, it seems like a miss to not talk about gratitude... and we mean actually speak out loud gratitude. Because, unexpressed gratitude communicates ingratitude.

Jesus lets us know what Christians are supposed to be known by... and it's not their political stances. It's their love. Let's have a conversation about the 4 things that make true love uncomfortable (especially during an election season).

Unity is not uniformity. When we talk about the importance of diversity we can see how our togetherness, especially during an election season, is necessary. So, let's talk about the 4 bold steps towards diversity we all can take.

When we look at the 2020 political landscape, we could all benefit from learning the phrases, "Help me understand" and "I could be wrong". Our humility leads to civility, and Christians are encouraged by the early church to model this type of behavior.

What do you get when you mix religion and politics?
Politics.

When we really boil down how the church and people who follow Jesus interact with our world there’s a clear separation between the way people identified themselves before and after Jesus.

When it boils down to it, at some point we've all been told "it's time to grow up". What if when we're talking about our faith, that phrase isn't a judgment... but an invitation?

When the early church was faced with horrible circumstances, James (the brother of Jesus) encouraged them with one thought: Just Hold On. The modern church, and Christians, could use the same encouragement.

We're all asking this question in some capacity: What do you do when you don't know what to do? The better question for most of us is: Who are you turning to when you don't know what to do?

It's human nature to avoid things we don't like. Because of that, it's easy to interpret discomfort, obstacles, and difficult things as something to escape from. What if there's a power to staying?
