Lucy Payne, actress, joins David in the studio on Sunday Arts Magazine.

Lucy first started acting at high school, where she and some other students started their own small acting group. She then went on to study Law. Finding that Law was not really suitable, she left the course and took up an acting course at Federation University, formerly BAPA, in Ballarat. She graduated in acting during Covid. She met Glenn Shea -actor, writer and director, who introduced her to theatre.

Lucy chats to David about her recent play: Mi:Wi, a play based on the true story of Roland Winzel Carter, a Ngarrindjeri man who enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force(AIF) in 1915.
