God's doesn't think like we do, all of His needs are met, this frees Him to be a sacraficial giver. Once we realize what He has done for us on the cross, and the promises He has made about meeting our needs in eternity, we can be freed from slavery to the fear of death, and become sacrificial givers too.

Jesus says that the world will know we are his disciples by our love for one another. Disunity threatens the very heart of our witness for Christ in a dark world. With all the problems the church in Corinth was experiencing, it is unity that Paul calls for first and foremost.
