Sunday Message Podcast

In this profound Christmas message we conclude "The One and Only" series by examining the Magi's gift of myrrh to baby Jesus, symbolizing His ultimate sacrifice and healing role as King. From Matthew 2:1-12, these Persian "king-makers"—influenced by Daniel's prophecies—acknowledged Jesus as the true King of the Jews, bringing myrrh used for embalming, anointing, and healing, foreshadowing His suffering and death (Isaiah 53:5). Myrrh appears throughout Jesus' life: at birth, mixed with wine at crucifixion (Mark 15:23), and in His burial (John 19:39-40), highlighting the cost of our salvation—His life for ours.

This message calls us to respond by bringing our "myrrh": living sacrificially through persecution, generosity, and service, as Romans 5:1-5 shows suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope. It also invites us to be healers, offering forgiveness and peace smeared with the myrrh of Christ's grace. If Jesus is King, embrace sacrifice not as waste but as productive, turning temporary pain into eternal glory.

Join this Christmas reflection to see the Magi's gifts anew and let myrrh challenge you to honor Jesus' sacrifice with your own bold, healing faith.

In this Christmas message, we explore the Magi's gift of frankincense to baby Jesus, declaring His divinity and role as ultimate High Priest. From Matthew 2:1-12, the wise men brought pure incense used in temple worship, symbolizing Jesus as God in flesh who would offer Himself for our sins—fulfilling rituals and tearing the veil at His death (Matthew 27:50-51).Frankincense represents prayer as our modern incense (Psalm 141:1-2; Revelation 5:8), inviting us to draw near God with confidence through Christ's blood (Hebrews 10:19-25). If Jesus is King, bring Him your prayers—acknowledging His divinity, relying on Him as our hope, and living under His priestly covering.CONNECT WITH US:→ Request Prayer: https://bit.ly/3zMyf5E→ Request Care: https://bit.ly/3fBTX5G→ Share a Testimony: https://bit.ly/3Jo7Ped→ Find Events and More: https://bit.ly/3TcrkcR→ Leave us a Review on Google: https://bit.ly/47925jP→ Plan a Visit in Person: https://bit.ly/3sfQdg7FOLLOW US:→ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/illuminatec...→ Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@illuminate_ch...→ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/illuminatech...WE HELP PEOPLE FIND ABUNDANT LIFE IN JESUS!

As we kick off the Christmas season at illuminate church, this message explores the profound significance of the Magi’s gift of gold to baby Jesus, revealing Him as the ultimate King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Drawing from Revelation 19:11-16 and Matthew 2:1-11, we journey from the triumphant vision of Jesus as the conquering rider on a white horse to the humble nativity where wise men from the east recognized His kingship from birth, bringing extravagant gold fit for royalty. While many missed the arrival of the true King, the Magi saw the star and worshiped, giving gold that symbolized His divinity, glory, and the establishment of His kingdom—echoing the gold-adorned temple in 1 Kings 6 and the pure gold city in Revelation 21.This message challenges us to ask: Are we missing Jesus as King in our lives? It calls us to live as sons and daughters of royalty, embracing our identity in Christ with infinite abundance, status, and protection, while walking in obedience to His beneficial commands. We also examine the call to give our treasure extravagantly and sacrificially, as in Matthew 6:21, where our heart follows our giving—not because Jesus needs it, but because we need to declare with our lives, “You are my King.”CONNECT WITH US:→ Request Prayer: https://bit.ly/3zMyf5E→ Request Care: https://bit.ly/3fBTX5G→ Share a Testimony: https://bit.ly/3Jo7Ped→ Find Events and More: https://bit.ly/3TcrkcR→ Leave us a Review on Google: https://bit.ly/47925jP→ Plan a Visit in Person: https://bit.ly/3sfQdg7FOLLOW US:→ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/illuminatec...→ Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@illuminate_ch...→ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/illuminatech...WE HELP PEOPLE FIND ABUNDANT LIFE IN JESUS!

In this inspiring message, Pastor Drew East shares how God turns the ordinary into the extraordinary. Drew explains how we may seem like everyday people, but when ignited by God's Spirit, we become vessels of divine light, called to reveal the supernatural God to the world. He reminds us that our God is unchanging—supernatural yesterday, today, and forever—and invites us into a life of supernatural calling.Drew dives into key scriptures like Matthew 10:7-8 and 28:19-20, where Jesus commissions His disciples to proclaim the Kingdom, heal the sick, raise the dead, drive out demons, and make disciples who obey all His commands. This isn't a diminished version of faith but a full invitation to do what Jesus did, freely giving what we've freely received. Whether you're feeling ordinary or seeking to step into God's supernatural life, this message offers the key to unlocking that divine potential, encouraging us to live as the light of the world through Christ's power.CONNECT WITH US:→ Request Prayer: https://bit.ly/3zMyf5E→ Request Care: https://bit.ly/3fBTX5G→ Share a Testimony: https://bit.ly/3Jo7Ped→ Find Events and More: https://bit.ly/3TcrkcR→ Leave us a Review on Google: https://bit.ly/47925jP→ Plan a Visit in Person: https://bit.ly/3sfQdg7FOLLOW US:→ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/illuminatec...→ Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@illuminate_ch...→ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/illuminatech...WE HELP PEOPLE FIND ABUNDANT LIFE IN JESUS!

What do you do when God’s plans make zero sense to you? Pastor Juan Martinez delivers a powerful message that will shift how you see the “crazy” moments in your life. Drawing from Isaiah 55:8-9, 1 Corinthians 2:14, and the incredible truth of being born again in John 3, he shows why God’s ways will always look impossible, illogical, and even foolish to human eyes — until suddenly they become the most incredible miracles you’ve ever seen.Whether it’s a promise that seems too big, a step of faith that scares you, or a transformation no one thought was possible, this message reminds us that walking by faith (not by sight) is precisely how God turns dead things into new life. If you’ve ever been afraid to obey because it “doesn’t make sense,” this is for you. God is still in the business of doing immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.CONNECT WITH US:→ Request Prayer: https://bit.ly/3zMyf5E→ Request Care: https://bit.ly/3fBTX5G→ Share a Testimony: https://bit.ly/3Jo7Ped→ Find Events and More: https://bit.ly/3TcrkcR→ Leave us a Review on Google: https://bit.ly/47925jP→ Plan a Visit in Person: https://bit.ly/3sfQdg7FOLLOW US:→ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/illuminatec...→ Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@illuminate_ch...→ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/illuminatech...WE HELP PEOPLE FIND ABUNDANT LIFE IN JESUS!

Welcome to Week 10 of Weeds in My Garden. In this message, we explore the evolving role of counseling and its spiritual dimension, featuring insights from LMHCs. Drawing from Proverbs 9:9, Ephesians 6:12, and John 14:15-17, we challenge the stigma surrounding counseling, recognizing it as a tool that offers coping mechanisms but often lacks deep healing without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Learn how mental health struggles—rooted in sin, trauma, or demonic footholds—require the Spirit’s power to evict the enemy, as Jesus illustrates in Matthew 12:43-45. This message offers hope, suggesting that effective counseling depends on Spirit-filled guidance, leading to true healing and peace. Join us to embrace the Holy Spirit as the ultimate Counselor and find restoration in Christ.CONNECT WITH US:→ Request Prayer: https://bit.ly/3zMyf5E→ Request Care: https://bit.ly/3fBTX5G→ Share a Testimony: https://bit.ly/3Jo7Ped→ Find Events and More: https://bit.ly/3TcrkcR→ Leave us a Review on Google: https://bit.ly/47925jP→ Plan a Visit in Person: https://bit.ly/3sfQdg7FOLLOW US:→ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/illuminatec...→ Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@illuminate_ch...→ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/illuminatech...WE HELP PEOPLE FIND ABUNDANT LIFE IN JESUS!
